Family Fun at a Work Picnic

Two weeks ago, we were at hubby's work picnic. We all went because son works for the same company (FLIR). It was quite warm that day but the park in Newberg was very shady, except for where the food was sitting out and the playground. But we had a good time. Food was good but we all declared my potato salad was better than the one there. Loved the dessert! Chocolate was included!

August Art Show

My Frozen Multnomah Falls photographic entry at the Aurora Art Show and Sale got an honorable mention. This is a mixed media show. There were 80 more entries this year than previous year. (114 last year, 190+ this year. ) Not every one got an award. So I was happy.

Delicious Bites of Summer

Strawberry rhubarb crisp I made for 4th of July and Megan thinks she needs a lot of it!
Strawberry rhubarb bread made on the same day! Oh the joys of baking and making the house smell delicious!


Fresh strawberries in my relatively new refrigerator. Blueberries ready for the freezer. I'm gonna miss the fruits of summer here in Oregon til next year. I have some in the freezer to make it through the year.
