Christmas Church Event 2010

This past Dec. our children's church sang for the congregation. This is the group of children that we help with 2nd service. Phil and I work with the 2nd and 3rd graders. The children you see are older and a bit younger than that. The first photo was taken before the program as the children were getting dressed into costumes the church had stashed away. The costumes really made the program go well. I was taking a photo of the girl and baby and then the boy that portrayed Joseph said that he needed to be in that photo!

Here the children were singing Away in A Manger.

Aftermath of costumes that I helped fold and put into different piles.
There were probably 40 children singing 4 songs. They did a really good job. They'd practiced for 6 weeks, kindergarteners to 5th graders. An awesome bunch of children, even though they can be disruptive at times. We are there to love on them and teach them God's word.

Nativity scene at church.

I'm finally catching up with posts due to computer issues. A few weeks late but it keeps the season alive in our hearts to see how we celebrated!
Thanks for visiting!

Always such a blessing to see the little ones performing and looking to their parents to see the love in their eyes.
Hugs and love,
Jan

Nothing sweeter than hearing little angel voices sing. You do a good thing.
