Autumn is Upon Us!

Autumn has fallen upon our part of the world. Today it's been windy amidst sporadic rain showers and cool. Windy enough to send a branch falling from a tree at church, minor damage to a vehicle's side mirror. Unusual! Just a few days ago, a big branch from a tree in another part of town crashed into an apartment. Maybe it's because it's been so dry.  These two tree images are of the heritage birch tree in our side lawn. In autumn.

Time for knitting warm items, wearing stocking caps to keep warm. (Image of work my daughter-in-love makes--(minus the fuzzy/stuffed owl.)(Totoro, whoever that is, per my son!) Time to go to the flock and fiber festival. I will probably get another skein of yarn. Shop for gifts. It's a mini fair for me as I enjoy farm animals and textiles!

Time to enjoy the season of pumpkins that are now gracing fields here and there along the countryside.

Enjoy your week and autumn activities. God bless you!
"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you."
Titus 2:11-15

Totoro is not an owl.

I love the colorful sight of pumpkins in the fields--SO pretty! No damage here from the last storm...we did experience some lovely (not!) hydroplaning while driving through it though.
Blessings,
Aimee
