My Sunday Thoughts

Sharing thoughts on my Sunday. Nothing earth shaking. Updates. Stayed home from church today since my mouth was giving me grief from eating my breakfast cereal. I've had problems with my bottom molars on my left side. Hurting more since Friday. Maybe it's because my dentist did some tapping around there to find my problem. So I took pain med and it helped. Went into living room and clicked on the tv, with our new remote (other one's on switch gave up).  Clicked over to Trinity broadcasting for my tv church. I have one in particular that I like if I stay home from our church. Bayless Conley is good.    Made spaghetti for lunch.  I had to mush up my spaghetti to eat it without pain! Sigh! Will call another dentist specialist tomorrow for an appt this week, hopefully. Possible tooth extraction or root canal. I need it done soon!

I took this fountain photo outside my dentist office on Friday. It was a warm day. Once I got close, I heard a frog croaking. He croaked loud enough that my husband could hear it when I called him (with my update on tooth). I looked for the frog but he was hiding, since he knew I had a camera! His song cheered me up.

Friday evening I learned that my friend, Krissy, who was battling cancer, died. She was victorious, in the end, she's at peace and in heaven. So thankful she knew the Lord.  She leaves behind a husband and two children.  Today they were participating in the Shamrock run in Portland.  He's been doing alot of things with the children. I'm sure this was planned before she died. Her mom has been here and was on hospice so Krissy was cared for.  Continued prayers for her family appreciated in this time of loss of their beloved.

I did a Trader Joes run yesterday even though my spirit wasn't really wanting to go anywhere. But I needed to get food. I love this bouquet of daffodils. Brightened my day.

Stopped at Bed, Bath and Beyond to exchange towels. Silly me picked up and bought bath sheets, not bath towels a couple weeks ago. Wasn't paying attention. Got $8 back! Also picked up a job application for my daughter. (since BB&B are hiring).  As of this coming Sat. she'll no longer workat the restaurant. Too much happening that's not shouldn't happen.(Sparing the details). She's had enough. I don't blame her. She starts work in another week at the tulip farm, temporarily.  It was planned as extra income with her dishwasher job. We wait upon the Lord to see what He has
in store for her next.
Now I'm off to make baked potatoes for dinner. It's one thing I can eat without too much pain.
 Til next time,
 take care my friends
and remember I answer your comments on my blog so look back
and see what I wrote, if you're so inclined.

"Jesus said to her (woman at the well), everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:13-14

Oh I'm sorry your teeth are botching you. Why is it that when your teeth hurt, everything seems to hurt. Kind of like a bad headache. We had some friends run in the Shamrock run too. I'm so sorry that you lost your friend. I'll keep her family in my prayers. I'm also looking forward to meeting you on Friday!

I know tooth pain all too well. Hope you can find someone to help you. In my opinion tooth pain is the worst!

Will be praying for comfort for your friend's family following her passing.

Hi Becky, sorry about your dental pain - I think that has to be the worst pain of all - so many nerve endings. Just think - you will feel like a million bucks when it is all over. Also, very sorry about your friend's passing. So tragic - leaving behind two children. This world is sometimes very sad. Just this morning I saw the medical rescue and the chaplain go to my neighbor's house. The man who lived there with his wife had cancer and he must have passed. I am saying a prayer for him and for your friend.
Your daffodils are bright and cheery and I love the photo of the waterfall. The peepers have been singing here the last few nights - a sure sign of spring.
Sending positive thoughts for your daughter's employment. Wishing you relief from pain soon. Hugs xo Karen

So sorry your tooth is giving you grief....not fun! :( Sorry to read that your friend Krissy left this life for the next...I know her loved ones will miss her so much. What a blessing to know that she is safely in eternity with the Lord. What precious hope we have as Christians!! May the Lord bless you richly. In Him, Camille

Betsy, sorry to have missed the lunch on Friday but I needed to stay off the roads with me feeling icky. My yuckiness wasn't on the calendar!

My pain has subsided but am looking forward to my appt at 10 a.m. on Monday Mar 24.

We've lost so many friends lately to cancer (2) and old age. Hard to not think about it. But it's good to know they are no longer suffering and with the Lord.
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and prayers. It means alot to me.
