Chalkboard Scripture

Saturday I was out and about. One of two places I stopped at was a retirement party for our city's chief of police. I saw this writing on this chalkboard in the hallway.  I immediately knew I needed to take a picture of it. Chalkboard art is a favorite of mine. This scripture goes well with a policeman's profession. As well as any one else's life walk. Including mine as a cashier, a woman of faith, a mom, grandma, sister and an avid photographer! No matter what God calls us to do, we do it to the best of our ability. "With all lowliness and meekness, with patience, forbearing one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace....." Ephesians 4:2-6
Live life well and stay the course.  A stumble comes before the fall.

This badge display is really nice. Look at the achievements of a man of faith. Such a blessing to have him and his family in our community. Fun time at the party as well. Cake and laughter and a bit of sharing time.   As one man said that there's a certain amount of police officers to keep us safe. We in turn need to have their backs. Support of them is critical and thankful quite a few are Christians.  So thankful God brought us to this city where it's grown bigger in the 25+ years we've been here. Even though there's never a perfect place to be, we make it better. Each day. For someone else and in turn we are blessed, in one way or another!
Have a blessed week, my friends!

What a challenging scripture Becky! Need to remind myself of this each day--especially during this difficult time.
