Last Week of my Thoughts

Petals from my gemstone orchid.
  ..............hello!  ..............
I'm resting on the couch from my day trip down Albany. I took my brother out to lunch at Burgerville. Some rain and wind along the way. More so on the way home. Temp 55 F degrees. Stopped at Fred Meyer to get some items on my list. Found a few things for January birthdays for my grandson, Owen,  and his mom, Erin.  Stopped and got some ink for my Canon printer at Shutterbug in Salem. I'm running out of one ink and decided to buy a few locally instead of ordering another pkg thru the mail.  Also checked out a couple selfie sticks and bought the heavier duty one.

Cozy sole mate sox to keep me warm on Christmas!

We woke to ice outside on Christmas.  This is arborvitae out our back door. Chilly day that had Megan drive slow on the street she was house sitting in Tualatin. Her friends had gone for awhile. Good thing the interstate
 was ok.

Tree at outlet mall Tuesday evening. I stopped in to use my $10 coupon at Eddie Bauer before it expired the next day. I found a purple sweater that was $9.99 after 50% off and my coupon. I need to let go of an old sweater.   I hope you all had a nice Christmas. We did and I'll be back with some photos. Also the last of my 52 week challenge photos will be the next post. I've done every week. Now I'm working on a book thru Shutterfly to see them all in order. Good memories. The group on Facebook won't be doing it in 2018 but there might be another one. Or I'll figure out something to do myself!
Take care and a great new year.

The tree at the outlet looked wonderful, worth a trip with a coupon. Wishing you and yours everything you wish for yourself for the new year.

Hi Becky! You are having a veritable heat wave over there compared to the rest of the country. :-) I like your socks and the tree is beautiful. I hope you and Phil are having a nice weekend and Dennis and I wish you both a very happy and blessed New Year!
BLessings,
Betsy
