Goofing after work

Hello! I'm slacking and slouching on the couch. Megan's on the recliner. I had take out chicken pot pie fill up from KFC. Watching Trailblazer game although I should be doing something else. Oh yeah, laundry load from dryer. I need to upload photos from my phone to computer via connection of phone to computer. Problems with photos allegedly being corrupt. Not sure what device changed. Sigh...crazy upgrades most likely. I've taken many photos on this new phone, while out and about Sat, which was so lovely out...64 degrees!
Two co-workers are sick with the flu. Then Lon has had a viral infection in his lungs. Last week when he was at VA clinic in Portland, he fell and broke his leg!  So in hospital and now in a nursing center for rehab. He's not able to work. Hope to go see him on Friday. I miss him as he's been not well for awhile. He's been at hardware store almost as long as me.
I guess I'll have more time to work on quilt as Bible study I'd hoped to lead didn't work out. Nobody signed up. That's been happening lately at our church, which is sad. But there's other studies out there too.  Life is busy. Not the right timing....A bit disappointed but will continue to re-read The Broken Way by Ann Voskamp again this year.

I went shopping at TJMaxx on Sunday after lunch at Red Robin. I had a gift card from my secret Santa co-worker. I needed to redeem it. While shopping I laughed when I saw this book box. I took a photo to show Phil. He'd written a humorous speech for Toastmasters about taking over the world.....he ended it by.....what's that nurse? Time to make my medicine? Okay I'll be right there after I..!
Best go and get a few things done, including clearing up papers on the coffee table in front of me while watching end of the game!  Blazers won!!

Please be careful not to catch the flu and enjoy winter days in good health. See you.

Such a shame that nobody signed up for the bible study. Have you tried altering the day/time to suit more people? Loved your header, the photo is a delight. Take care.

Yep lots of people around me getting the flu too. I'm washing my hands frequently. Stay healthy!

I am so sorry that you have so many coworkers out with the flu. Be careful my friend. Dennis came down yesterday with an awful head cold and I’m hoping that’s all it is. It’s too bad about the Bible study. We are having the same issue at our church. People are so busy and don’t want to take the time for that. I hope you have a wonderful evening my friend. Blessings always,

That's sad for your friend to be sick and then to fall and break a leg. That's my worst nightmare. I hope you all stay healthy and enjoy your weekend. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

You must be crazy busy at work with all your fellow workers out ill. So sad your friend broke his leg. Grab all the rest you can and take care of yourself.
