In The House: Week 2 Photo fun challenge

Christmas ornaments waiting to be stored this week.

January means it's time to put away the Christmas items. Phil took the tree apart and put in the garage til next Christmas. I still need to put a few other items away as well. Always something to do, whatever season it is!

Thursday I took a sick day from work as I was too weary to get out of bed. So tired and my throat was hurting. No fever though. I slept 2.5 hours after going back to bed after breakfast, calling into work and a bit of reading. Sitting around and doing very little has helped besides drinking water and tea.  I washed up a few dishes from last night early afternoon today. Too tired/weary to do it last night. Loaded what I could in the dishwasher last night. I am feeling better today, thankful for little coughing, throat not swollen. Tomorrow is pedicure and a bit of grocery shopping. Rain and breezy days ahead. Thankful I'm inland, not on the Oregon Coast. Yesterday there were huge waves that hit along the coast. Kyllo's restaurant, by D River, Lincoln City, was damaged, Wi-Ne-Ma Christian camp, north of Neskowin was hit as well. Flooding along the coast and beaches are closed. More wave action coming. I saw an amazing photo on Facebook this evening. WOW!  It would have been fun to see the action but from a distance. One man drowned, another lady was taken to hospital as she was on the beach when wave hit and there was a log in it that hit her leg. Not sure why people are on the beach when told to stay off for safety sake. Oh well!

Yesterday I started to work on another photo book thru Shutterfly I was notified I had a free 8x8" book available thru Sunday. So I've been uploading photos and nearly have it finished. That's what I'll be working on when I'm finished here. I spent time looking thru photos on my phone that I didn't have on my Canon camera for our celebration. Any of the ones I was able to get into my photo files from phone say they are corrupted. Not sure why. The tech man I spoke with from Tmobile told me where photos are located on my computer. . I didn't know that existed. Something that has photos from camera and phone camera. I found them and was able to use the photo above in the file and copyright it then put it on my blog! Score! Live and learn!
Welcome to a few new followers here and on Bloglovin'. Thanks for your interest and comments!
Have a good weekend and I'll be back soon!

I'm glad you seem to be better today. Dennis is still hibernating in the bedroom away from me although he did go to work yesterday. He said he stayed in his office away from everyone.
I saw that wave that hit Kyylos in Lincoln City. How scary. We always stay right next door from there at D'Sands. I wonder how it faired? We've been there in some pretty big storms that were scary enough. That poor man in Depoe Bay. What was he thinking crawling on the rocks to see the spouting horn better? I guess we'll never know. I love the ocean but when I see stories like this it reminds me of the power of that water.
I hope you have a great day today Becky and continue to feel better every day.

I'm still putting Christmas away too. Love the picture. And I also love your new header. Great picture of Bob's Red Mill.

Hope you are feeling better. Take it really easy.
