Tulip Farm Visit

I had a fun early evening at the tulip farm last Monday. The day was warm and nice so I decided to head out there for awhile. It's worth $5 to spend an hour out there, viewing all the beautiful tulips.
I met up with Barb, who works there. She was taking photos, as always, with her Canon camera. I usually have mine but not this time. I told her "I only have my cell phone camera with me, since I came from work." She decided to take some on her phone as well. She had forgot about that. I always enjoy catching up with her out there. Busy farm life!
One of the many display beds for tulips!

Beautiful evening out there with sun behind the clouds. It's breathtaking.

Oak trees still standing after all these years with storms battering them.
 The barn across the road.
A favorite selfie! Love the combination of the colors!

As I was leaving I stopped to look at these old farm machines. Oh how it took my mind back to my growing up years on our farm. My dad had both a combine and winrower, the one to the back.
The rest of the week was cool and rain settled in. Glad I was able to go then and may not have another chance this year. Too many other things going on. Dr appt, get new tires for my car, end of week.  I was able to spend time outdoors yesterday, picking up branches from a tree in our side lawn, transplanted plants. Today we drove to church and then to another town to eat lunch.....in the rain. Phil and I were caught in the rain on a walk...first one for a week. Time is growing short this evening so am going to close this post. Spent some time just sitting at my computer, looking through things. Doing housework....vacuuming, a load of laundry. Never a dull moment.....life moves on!
Thanks for your prayers for my friend Beth.  My allergy issues are slowly subsiding, thankfully! Blessings to you all this week!

"Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing  I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:12-14

Such a delight to see all those beautiful tulips, what a lovely place to visit. Glad you have been able to get your allergies under control a little.

What beautiful photos of the tulip farm Becky. The only place I have seen any flowers here is three lonely little Daffodils in Nita’s yard this weekend. It’s rainy and cold here today but the weather man is saying to change by the end of the week. I sure hope so, this cold spring is getting to be old this year!
Blessings, Betsy

Happy to see your photos from the tulip farm! Such a beautiful place. Sadly I don't think I'll have time to visit this year - too much going on right now.
