Sunny Spring

Warm weather arrived ahead of spring. Daffodils still blooming. Temps in the high 60s F. I enjoyed time outside Sunday afternoon. When I got back from a walk with Phil I did some work with flowers. Pulled two pots with cannas from garage in wheelbarrow they were sitting in. Cut them back and there's green showing once I cut them back. Phil pulled out the two heavier pots. I watered all the plants .We've not had rain for awhile.
The 🐦 bird bath had algae that needed removed. Dumped out the water. I used Thieves cleaner as I knew it wouldn't harm the birds. 🐦
                   Looks better now.
I wore my mom's black hills gold ring. While sitting in church and looked down before praying and I thought of her. She loved the Lord so much. She loved to garden. Remembered her with the flowers. I miss taking her flowers or pushing her in her wheelchair at nursing home to enjoy the flowers outside.
Now that spring has arrived there's rain in the forecast late week and high 50s. Brush fires in a few counties have now made those counties banning burning completely. A town has been evacuated becuz of a fire that jumped the Santiam river! Wow! At least there's no flooding!

Enjoy your life on 🌎 and hope all is well where you reside! I appreciate your comments!! God bless!!

Good morning Becky! Look at those flowers! We still have snow on the ground but it is rapidly melting. We had three days in a row of 60°! We have not reached 60° since October 2. It is a very welcome change. I think by this time next week all traces of snow will be gone.
I love seeing your outdoor activities. That is a beautiful ring. I love black hills gold. I have my mothers wedding rings and I take them out every so often and wear them. It does make me feel a bit closer to her. Wonderful memories. Enjoy the sunshine today
. Blessings, Betsy

Fires, flooding it is all such a mess. Glad you are safe and love your flowers. I think of my Mom often, glad you have her beautiful ring to make you feel close to her.

So good to see the cheerful yellow of daffodils again! Love them. It's so nice that you have something pretty to wear of your mom's. You and I both were very blessed to have moms that loved God. Wishing you a wonderful second half of this week.
