Tuesday quiet time

Hello my reader buddies! Back here in blog land for a few minutes. Just finished some yummy ice cream then gonna fold 2 loads worth of laundry. Semi busy days at work. I'm thankful to you that left heartfelt comments on my last post. I wasn't depressed even though I do struggle once in awhile.
Ate dinner after work by myself at Dennys. A co-worker came up from behind me a few minutes later..".are ya eating by yourself?" "Yes." He and his wife were there with a couple family members from Georgia. It was kind of Larry to say hi to me. Then later, when half done with dinner he came by to say "goodbye kiddo. See you tomorrow!" Ah!
Cloudy but warm here this week. Some ☔ in the morning on Monday. Later today some man said it was hard to be on the combine in field as whatever grain they were harvesting would get clogged in the machinery.
I'm thankful to have time to re-read Psalm 16. I'd read it on my last break quickly at work. Read it again at dinner. Wrote it down in a notebook I carry with me when I'm out. This passage has helped me keep my eyes and heart on God. Our lives seem to get busy. So much to do. Places to go. God's there with us.
"Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. ....." Psalm 16:5-7
Flowers in vase are hydrangeas from my lawn. The white is bridal veil. Other one so old I'm not sure of it's name.
Have a blessed rest of your week. 💜

I am just catching up with some laundry too. Will look up the Psalm when I have finished on the computer, always nice to read it for yourself. Wishing you a wonderful day.

Busy days seem to be the norm. I'm at home this week and seem to have busy days here too. A doctor appointment today and tomorrow. Thank you for the verse in Psalms. I have a project that I have been working on for several months. I'm writing the entire book of Psalms in a notebook. I remember better when I actually write something down. It's a BIG project and I really don't care how long it takes me if I absorb it into my soul.
Have a lovely week Becky.

Lovely flowers. Growing up my grandmother had lilacs and bridal wreath growing together. I used to make a wreath of the bridal wreath for my hair when I was little. My pastor is doing a series on Psalms for the summer. Last Sunday was Psalm 84. There is so much to learn from the Psalms.

Today I didn't do any household chores, but finished few home decors, which were long pending. :)
