Flowery Days of Spring

Days with more flowers to view especially the one that is outside through the kitchen window. I did take the picture of it outside when it was sunny. It's cherry flowers but no cherries. Now it is going away.

New mug that I got at TJ Maxx store to use part of the gift card that my sister Kerri gave me last month. I like Vincent Van Gogh drawing of Irises. I like irises as well as there is some blooming beside our house.

Flowery trees in front of my car at church when I go to bible study. More flowers going on the front of my car a earlier this week. Phil thought it was bird poop on my car. That's what happens at times when he returns home from work. Made me smile!!

The first lilac bush is different color that the second lilac bush. The first on I have had for years and the second is close to our garage. I could smell the aroma of it this afternoon when I came home from shopping. Hopefully Megan's lilac bush will keep growing. She was able to get it into a deeper pot. We both got them at Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens in Woodland, WA. It was good to visit there a few years ago to see Mrs. Jane Kirkpatrick. She did write a book "Where Lilacs Still Bloom." March 2012 was most likely the first time I had been there.

Even though it looks like Christmas, I put the roses that I got last week in the living room. I most likely with change the Christmas time to something else with Precious Memories and different angels. All though we need angels in our life and God helps us through rough times in life.

I found this recipe online as I read something about it on the box Minute brown rice. I finally made it last week. It was delicious. I am going to start making it a bit earlier as there is items to cut and heat up. It was good to have Phil help me with it. I hope you can view what the recipe is if you want to use it.

Orchid flowers I got last week at a store where I shopped at. I hope to put it in the ground where other flowers are at and be able to see it next year!!

This is a bag that I made last Wednesday afternoon at the adult center. It took a bit longer that I expected but the other people there had fun as well and talk with each other once in a while. It will be most likely to somebody's gift. I wish there was something to read and know a bit more how to make it. I like the red, white and blue colors due to 250 years in the USA in July!!

We have had some rain last week but none this week. Warmer weather a few times then cooler.
Phil and I had a good time meeting our friend Steve who had a stroke Sunday afternoon after church and eating lunch. We drove home to put the cooler on as it was warmer that day. Steve was happy to see us and he understood what we told him. Later after we got back home, Phil went on a walk and unfortunately, he tripped and his left arm wasn't good once he got home on his first lap of walk. I was able to find a bandage and Megan helped him a bit more. I did go on a walk with him after that was taken care. I did need to shop at Walmart to get another bandage box that had a good size and would stay connected to his arm. I did find it and found a few other items that we needed before getting back home last night.

It was good to view the hydrangea plants when we got back home walking on Sunday afternoon. We have had it for over 30 years as we are still at the same house.
Again, this week Megan is having chemo, and my sister Kerri will have infusion.
Sad that there are more cancers in our family and some people that we know. So grateful for prayers and help through our Lord Jesus Christ who knows the people in need.

Have a good time in your life!! Hopefully you will be able to read your bible in whatever language that you use. Have a good week, my reader friends!!

Early April Days

Hello my friends! I am sorry that it's been a bit since I have been my blogpost to finish this post. Early April when I drove Megan to Bauman's Farm and Garden to find items to buy and go view the goats. Mother goat and kids were together outside of the barn when they stay inside at time. Good to see the kids were good to see and actually pet them as they go by the fences. That was a week when Megan had a chemo and she could not drive until next week.  That is the day before Easter.

I set up items in the living room for Easter. As usual I take photo of it with the mug that has tea in it for a group of Facebook that we stay in connection with of what we are doing through the day and teas that we have. I have a lot of photos on my phone and on my computer. Christ the Lord is Risen is a plate that I got at bible study and decided to use it.

Easter at 2nd church service before more people were in. It was good to sing good songs about Jesus has Risen!!! The church has been getting full for a while which is so good. There was a choir with adults and some children singing at the beginning of the service. Phil and I stopped to pick Megan up from home so that she could eat lunch with us at Elmer's restaurant together. It was good to see my friend and his wife, his daughter and his boyfriend there as well.

Good to see flowers on our tree flowering cherry tree. It has no cherries in it though. Good to have it for five years. It did get cut back some to get it even by Megan. I have cut some of it back at times. I remember seeing so much wind that the flowers went away earlier. It has been windy today and finally some rain.

Tulips blooming and other flowers.

Three different views of sunset. I like all the photos that came out at that time that is now night.

It is another time for Megan to get tulips at the Woodburn Tulip Farm that she went with a friend of hers. I have been there for years, and I guess I could have gone with her as well, but I did not as I have to pay it online to get in.

It's been a windy day with some rain again. I have some things to do as a few people are coming to our house Saturday evening for our home-to-home dinner. I will make Impossible Cheeseburger Pie and someone else will bring a couple things as well. It is fun to get together again. Always something to do in the dining room before more people come to visit.

Have a good day and be safe and blessed!!

Good Friday -April 3rd 2026.

An early Easter this year. Phil and I went to church this evening early as I had to be there for 6 other people were reading scripture verses.
It's Good Friday as Jesus is crucified and hung on a cross ✝️. Good music 🎶 and scripture verses and communion.

The scripture verse above is one I found on Facebook that a friend shared.

I found scripture verses that had Jesus as a lamb since I had a card to sent to my grandchildren.

"The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, 'Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!' "
John 1:29.

Have a blessed weekend 🙏 🌷 🌹 ✝️ ⛪️
