This is a bag that I made last Wednesday afternoon at the adult center. It took a bit longer that I expected but the other people there had fun as well and talk with each other once in a while. It will be most likely to somebody's gift. I wish there was something to read and know a bit more how to make it. I like the red, white and blue colors due to 250 years in the USA in July!!
********************** ************** ****** We have had some rain last week but none this week. Warmer weather a few times then cooler. Phil and I had a good time meeting our friend Steve who had a stroke Sunday afternoon after church and eating lunch. We drove home to put the cooler on as it was warmer that day. Steve was happy to see us and he understood what we told him. Later after we got back home, Phil went on a walk and unfortunately, he tripped and his left arm wasn't good once he got home on his first lap of walk. I was able to find a bandage and Megan helped him a bit more. I did go on a walk with him after that was taken care. I did need to shop at Walmart to get another bandage box that had a good size and would stay connected to his arm. I did find it and found a few other items that we needed before getting back home last night.
It was good to view the hydrangea plants when we got back home walking on Sunday afternoon. We have had it for over 30 years as we are still at the same house. Again, this week Megan is having chemo, and my sister Kerri will have infusion. Sad that there are more cancers in our family and some people that we know. So grateful for prayers and help through our Lord Jesus Christ who knows the people in need. |
