Another Summertime!!

Another time in summer here in Oregon. I have some older flowers outdoors and I like the ones that we have. Megan likes flowers as well. It has been good days with a lot of sun and a two weeks ago there was fires that made the air quality bad, especially when people have allergies. Both Megan and I wore masks when we go outside. A bit like that yesterday but better now.

These two photos are ones that I saw on my computer. One on top is a Puget Sound Ferry. I remember being on those a few times, especially when we were visiting my sister Kerri in WA. Good to put our car in the ferry and go safely to the other side of the river and back to the other side after the visit.
It was lighthouse day that I saw this photo and it looks like one that I have seen on the beach when Phil and I were there on the OR beach.

I have a friend that sends me text messages, and I like to use some of them on my phone. That way I can share it with other people. The sunflowers are this time of year. I like seeing sunflowers as I am driving west on freeway and it's on the right side of road. I can't stop to take a photo of it but still looks good!!

On Facebook I saw this through what Holloman AFB, NM were doing for people in need. No water to drink due to way to a storm. The city that was close to it was asked for help and HAFB group went there and some food, if I remember right. I remember being on that HAFB years ago and good to watch what they are doing now.
Interesting things that Megan had on her phone, and I was able to use it as it's elsewhere where she was at on her vacation a week ago.
I like watching on that one the tv as well.

My friend Gwen told me what her oldest grandson was doing on FB that he was helping fires to go away in WA. I heard that at church as well. I am glad that there's less fires in Spokane.

I hope that you are having another happy day and know that you like scripture verses as well. God is the one who build the world many generations ago. Enjoy the rest of your week and be safe and healthy with family and friends.

Hot days and fires around Oregon and Washington

Early August and it's still hot days outdoors and some areas where the fires are at. Sad that had to happen again a few years ago. Mug had tea in it and USA flag behind the mug. I took that photo years ago at cemetery that I view, especially veterans are at that are celebrated and put flags on them and flowers.  The tree that has purple flowers on it is neighbor's house across the street where we live. They have a lot less in their house as they are now living in Idaho. We miss them as they have been helpful and good to talk with. Air Quality was at 139 before I left house to get to Molalla for my Dental Clinic for my cleaning appointment this morning. It got higher at Molalla 179 but there was bluer in the sky that morning and less once that I got back home. I did not have any issues with my teeth. I need to figure out what insurance for teeth appointments will be 2027. Phil is retiring in December.

I had another delicious lunch at adult center Wednesday. I like the foods they give us.

I shopped at Safeway and found the Splenda that I like and the celebrate the 250 years in the USA!! Both Megan and I use the sweetener. I used raw honey in the tea that I had for my lunch at home due to allergies outdoors with all the yucky smells when it's high in air quality. It doesn't bother other people, but it does to other people.

Phil, Megan and I were going to the National Day Out on Tuesday evening, but no policeman or firefighters would be there. Sad that had to happen as it was good to be there. I saw one the Foursquare Church yesterday when I was going to Dutch Bros to get tea. I do not know any updates about it as there are places to help for firefighters and police.

Paris tea that I got from DB and a new sticker.  Close to adult center before lunch. I did stay there after lunch and did coloring on paper that all I had to do was to color it. Almost done and will do it by the end of the week to send it to someone next week.

I was leaving Bauman's after checking out and looking outside to get to my car. I had Peach Arnold Palmer tea. I like that cold tea as it was needed as well.

Megan is on her vacation this afternoon after she was done at VBS at Grace Chapel in Wilsonville. I am glad she's out and about and staying at a hotel and have a good and safe time.

I find this Precious Moments on Facebook, and I enjoy PM company as I enjoy the PM items and have a bible that's PM as well, from friends who were our pastor at Woodburn Christian Church. They sent it to me years ago.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;
it is the gift of God"

End of July this summer

Another time to show more what I have been doing lately. I went through magazines that I have and read them. The first two on the are about celebrating 250 years of the United States of America. Second one is about viewing tulips in Amsterdam in another country. It looks a lot like Woodburn Tulip field for years and I know being there here in Oregon and Washington.

Some of the foods were handmade, including the lemon cinnamon roll that I ate most of it and took the last bit home. A young girl was playing basketball by herself and a bit later rider bicycle with a boy for a bit and had fun time to view them. The table does not have any water in it. It's blue/green in a river looks like.

July 23, I went to the Simonka Place in Keizer to view what artist have done as the ladies who live there do them. There were a lot of items to view, and this is one that I like because of Jesus Christ our savior touches my heart and mind daily. I was eating dinner outside after seeing all of the items and able to choose some of the ones that I liked so the ladies would know probably later that week. It's a good place for me to view and be there as there seems to be God's presence. Good to be able to have a volunteer lady let me leave the place to drive back home. It still had warm weather as I left.

Two weeks ago, Wednesday night, there was a thunderstorm in our area where we live. I am glad Megan was able to return home from an event she had to be at. Good to know there was rain as well as we haven't had any lately. Good to have water to use outdoors. The photo is in Keizer where there's to be baseball game that evening with two different teams. One from Portland and other from Salem/Keizer. The seven time the score was 4-4 and were told to leave including people who were people to watch the game. It isn't good to be outside and possibly get struck by lightning.
I remember Phil stopped the internet going so our computers. Good thing that no power outage.

Sunday after church on two days ago, Phil and I went to Panera for lunch this time. We tried to last Sunday but there was 35 minutes to wait so we went to Red Robin and was good time to get food.  I enjoyed the foods that they have and had British Breakfast tea.

Phil is busy this week as he went to work on Monday and from Tuesday to Thursday, he is helping at Kids Camp in the gymnasium connected with MVCC. I did bake ranger cookies on Monday and put 24 cookies in a Ziploc bag for the people could use it at the camp. I need to dry the items in the washing machine as Phil had with him today so he can use it again. That's why I waited until he came back home.
I miss being there but good memories. I have been using a walker to keep myself safe to walk outdoors and do get help often now, which is nice and so thankful for people who help me. A blessing to Jesus and my Father God in heaven.
Hope you all having a good week wherever you are at.
